You might know that there is turbulence in the relationship between Sweden and Saudi Arabia. It is all about human rights. While respecting the sovereignty of Saudi Arabia and acknowledging its gradual improvements, the EU should stand with Sweden.

I love helping, and volunteering is my passion. Apart from my full time, work commitment at ENGAGE, I am taking out 2 hrs of time once in a week to coach Kul. Kul is one of the young wheelchair basketball players at Jawalakhel Team: a shy 16 year old boy, who is studying in class 5. I like spending time with him. We talk most of the time about his personal stuffs, study and so on.

In this article I discuss how the recent discourse on the BBC documentary on the gang rape in New Delhi in 2012 affects the adage “break the silence” on violence against women and girls. I plead that the discourse encourage us all to break the silence and not hold our peace because the noise we generate could be imperfect.
