I attended my first international Down syndrome congress in 1993, where I learnt what I needed to do to craft an inclusive and meaningful life for our son. Thirty years on, he lives a life defined by him, where he is included, known and a confident and proud man with Down syndrome. I am grateful for the people like you who made that event possible. The same cannot be said for all people with Down syndrome in Australia or globally; real change can occur through your sponsorship.
