International Relations plays a vital role in promoting a dialog among different civilizations. Imagine the benefit of better regional integration process can have in the national development policies. Imagine if SAARC can take some bold steps towards the same path taken by the EU. How can democracy spread around and take root? How can we conceive new form of participatory form of democracy that can go well beyond the current representative model? What's about deliberative forms of democracy that offer new space of civic engagement and contribute to strengthen the social capital at local level?
