Special Edition: Fuel for Weaving
Last week to apply: Want to inspire more people to be weavers?
Have we got an opportunity for you! If you have a passion for weaving your community, want to help create a nation of weavers, and are interested in growing as a speaker, you should become a Weave speaker.
The Weave Speakers Bureau provides you with training, puts you in a peer group of other speakers for support, and works to get you on stages large, small, and virtual to share your experience and insights. The Bureau started this year with 20 speakers and 85% have already benefited from speaking engagements.
You’ll join a cohort of 8-10 new speakers, enjoy special training, and have access to 1-1 coaching to prepare for talks. Applications are due on Wednesday, September 13 at 11:59pm ET and could take as little as 30 minutes to complete. To learn more about what to expect and how to apply, click here.
And if you have been attending our Becoming a Great Speaker workshop series, our next workshop “Know your message” will take place on Wednesday, September 20th. This session will help you clarify and sharpen your core message, and establish yourself as a credible messenger. If you haven’t done so yet, you can register here.

Nonprofit organizations and public and private K-12 schools are eligible to apply. Apply by September 30, 2023.
We originally intended to skip this week's newsletter. However, in the past weeks we'd received several requests from weavers asking us to include more resources to fuel their weaving, so we created this special edition. If you'd like us to do special editions more often, let us know! Reply to this email with your comments. See you next week,
