About the Lisbon Future Dialogue

The Lisbon Future Dialogue 2026 is a global gathering where young leaders, innovators and decision makers come together to shape a FutureProof world. With rapid technological change and an accelerating energy transition, LFD26 provides space for bold ideas, cross-sector collaboration and real action.
The event will convene young leaders, policymakers, innovators, and experts from across the energy, climate, technology, media, and political sectors to advance the global conversation on building a sustainable, digital, and equitable energy future.
Our mission
We are committed to a future powered by clean, secure, and just energy—renewables. A key milestone on this path is achieving the global target to triple renewable energy capacity by 2030, a goal endorsed by all UN nations at COP28 in 2023.
To deliver at least 11,000 GW of renewables by 2030, we establish, communicate, and drive action towards this target. We work in close partnership with governments, industry leaders, investors, NGOs, multilateral organisations, and corporations to accelerate the energy transition at the speed and scale the world needs.

The Global Renewables Alliance unites six leading global industry associations, representing the key renewable energy technologies essential for achieving net zero. Our members—spanning wind, solar, hydropower, green hydrogen, long-duration energy storage, and geothermal—bring deep industry expertise and insights to support our shared mission.
Together, they strengthen our collective voice, driving forward the global renewables agenda and advocating for the rapid expansion of clean energy solutions worldwide.
